The Bedford County Fair Board of Directors plays a crucial role in organizing and overseeing the annual Bedford County Fair, a cherished community event that showcases local agriculture, crafts, entertainment, and more. This dedicated group of individuals is responsible for coordinating various aspects of the fair, from planning and logistics to marketing and community engagement. They work tirelessly to ensure the event runs smoothly, often relying on the support of volunteers and local businesses. The board also focuses on maintaining the fair's traditions while introducing new attractions to keep it fresh and exciting for attendees of all ages. Their efforts contribute to fostering a sense of community pride and promoting the cultural and economic vitality of Bedford County. Each director oversees a different aspect of the Fair and were very busy this year planning for our 151st Fair! Directors are elected by the stockholders of the Bedford County Agricultural Society during their annual meeting in November.
