Friday, July 25, 2025; Start time: 2:30 - 3 p.m. - Bedford Ford Show Arena (Set up: 1-2 pm)
1. Each contestant must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Each contestant or team must furnish own cutting devices and protective apparel.
3. Winners will be determined by fastest cutting times; Judges decisions are final.
4. Contestants must wear proper safety protection in every event.
5. All participants must sign liability release forms.
A handicap will be given to women who wish to enter in the standing block chop. A handicap will be given to women who wish to enter in the standing block chop. Entry deadline is July 1. Entry forms can be found at the Fair office or downloaded at link above.

STANDING BLOCK CHOP
1. 12" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. All safety equipment must be worn.
3. Time will start on go and stop when block is severed in two pieces.
SPRINGBOARD CHOP
1. 12" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. Must bring your own springboards and fasteners.
3. Time will start on go and stop when block is severed in two pieces.
2 MAN CROSSCUT
1. 12" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. All styles of saws are welcome.
3. Contestants will make one cut.
JACK AND JILL CROSSCUT
1. 12" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. All styles of saws are welcome.
3. Contestants will make one cut.

2. Contestants must wear proper protection apparel.

STOCK SAW
1. 13" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. Two cuts will be made, one down and one up in a 4" limit.
3. Cut outs will result in disqualification.
4. Identical saws will be provided and used.
5. Contestants must wear chaps, ear and eye protection.
MODIFIED CHAINSAW
1. 13" basswood, polar or aspen will be used.
2. 3 cuts will be made in a 6" limit.
3. Cut outs will result in a disqualification.
4. Any production made chainsaw is allowed.
5. Contestants must wear chaps, eye and ear protection.
