Department 10 - 4-H & Vocational - Group Exhibits

Department 10 - Section 20 - Group Exhibit Contest

Superintendent: Dwayne Hay (814-623-4800)

1. Any registered Bedford County 4-H Club or FFA Club is eligible to enter the contest. If you do not enter, you will not be eligible for ribbons and prize money. Exhibits must be registered under the Club or Chapter name, not a leader.
2. Exhibits shall be placed in the 4-H center on Friday, July 24, from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
3. Reference for judging exhibits: Penn State Extension Publication S273, Exhibits: Design and Production.
4. Exhibits are allotted a space 8' wide x 8' high by 8' deep.
5. Exhibits may be removed Saturday, August 1, 8:00-11:00 p.m. or Sunday, August 2, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
6. Exhibits in each class should focus on the theme: "4-H Passion Sparks Opportunity".

Additional Group Exhibit Awards sponsored by the
Bedford County 4-H Development Fund
Best of Show - $100 1st place - $50 2nd place - $40 3rd place - $30 4th place - $20 (Clubs will receive payment directly from the 4-H Development Fund)

Winning exhibits may be entered in the Farm Show the following January, however, Farm Show exhibits are 3' high x 3' wide by 30" deep.
