In showmanship, the exhibitor's primary job is to ensure their animal looks its best at all times. Maintaining personal poise, staying alert, and being neat are also key in the show ring. Exhibitors should always keep an eye on their animal and be mindful of the judge's position. They need to stay focused, respond promptly to the judge's requests, and remain courteous and sportsmanlike throughout.
