The Pennsylvania 4-H Horse Program focuses on teaching horsemanship and the ethical care, use, and management of horses. Caring for an animal is a big responsibility, and members in a 4-H horse science project learn to be accountable, keep accurate records, and gain hands-on experience. Working with a horse is a unique way for young people to build confidence and feel a strong sense of connection.
