Thinking about raising goats? One of the first choices you'll need to make is deciding on a breed or breeds. The six classic goat breeds are Nubian, Alpine, Saanen, Toggenburg, LaMancha, and Oberhasli. Other breeds gaining popularity include Pygmy, Boer, Cashmere, and Angora.
