Baked goods will be received Monday, July 22, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. after being registered in the Junior 4-H Building.

SPECIAL RULES:
1. Fresh bake goods will be sold at 4-H Auction unless specified otherwise. A portion will remain for display. Proceeds will go for the 4-H Building Fund.
2. No baked goods needing refrigeration accepted.
3. Please bring breads & rolls in plastic bags.
4. Each class in Section 15A will be judged for a BEST OF SHOW, winner will receive a Rosette and $10.
5. All baking participants will received a Red Star Yeast coupon.
6. All baking entries using yeast in Class 1 Bread and Class 2 Rolls will be entered in a Red Star Drawing.

2013 PA PREFERRED CONTEST
Cookie, Brownie or Bar Baking Contest

RULES
1. Exhibitor must be an individual (age 8 through and including 18 years ONLY) who is a Pennsylvania resident; one entry per person.
2. Entrants may NOT have won 1st place in this PA Preferred Cookie, Brownie, Bar contest at any other fair in 2013.
3. Entry must be a plate of six (6) cookies, brownies or bars made from "scratch" (no mixes).
4. COOKIE, BROWNIE OR BARS entry must feature chocolate or cocoa as a main ingredient.
5. At least two (2) ingredients must be PA Preferred products. Ingredient is to be identified"PA Preferred" with its brand name in the cookie-brownie-bar recipe. All package labels from the PA Preferred including product(s) used, including the name of the product, must accompany the recipe. Look for blue and yellow PA Preferred logo on the ingredient packaging to ensure that the product was produced in Pennsylvania. Please note that some packaging may not have the blue and gold logo A list of PA Preferred milk and egg products can be found at www.facebook.com/PaPreferred. 6. Entry must be submitted for judging on a doily set on top of cardboard or a disposable plate.
7. Recipes(s) must be submitted with the entry, printed on one-side of 8 1/2" X 11" paper. Recipe must list all ingredients, quantities, and the preparation instructions. Entrant's name, age, address and phone number must be printed on the back side of all the pages. PA Preferred product labels must be attached to the recipe.
8. Refrigeration is not available at the Fair or the PA Farm Show. Entries that require refrigeration after baking must indicate so in the recipe. Those entries will not be sold, auctioned or otherwise distributed for consumption after judging for food safety reasons.
9. Judging criteria:

First Place Winner is eligible for the 2013 PA Farm Show competition.
